Do Guys Undress You with their Eyes?
Sep 29th
According to Image Consultant and dating coach Kimberly Seltzer, the answer is absolutely yes!
Kimberly helps women attract the man of their dreams by addressing the way you dress on a date. She believes a woman needs to dress in a way to honor her beautiful figure, and adds that you should wear only the clothes that make the best of your unique shape.
Other fashion tips include avoid the trendy looks and buy clothes that you will wear over and over again because they make you feel confident and fantastic.
To attract the right kind of man, she advises her clients to avoid dressing provocatively. Guys would rather undress you with their eyes and leave things to their imagination rather than displaying it all on a first date.
At the end of the day, according to Seltzer, you want to attract a guy who likes you for you. Dress sexy, subtly, and comfortably.
Kimberly suggests visiting her favorite online store looklet.com. This high-tech site lets you style and re-style a model using their clothing pieces.

Spinning Around with Tony Robbins
Sep 27th
It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to spend over an hour with motivational giant, Tony Robbins. At 140 The Twitter Conference, Tony Robbins gave a keynote speech that had the crowd on their feet dancing and hugging strangers. His assignment for us was to greet everyone as if they were your long-lost lover or best friend.
To demonstrate his point that emotion is created by motion, he ran into the crowd, grabbed the woman in the red dress and spinned her around like a top! How exhilarating, especially as the woman in red was none other than myself! When he asked the crowd if it felt good – yes, or no, what could I say other than wow!
Watch the video, courtesy of @techfrog and hear from one of the most powerful life coaches in the world.
Other highlights of the first-ever Los Angeles Twitter Conference included an entertainment panel moderated by Dr. Drew Pinsky with panelists LeVar Burton, Tony Hawk, and Tyrese Gibson as well as a music panel that included Curt Smith from Tears for Fears and mega-blogger, Chamillionaire.
At the cocktail reception, the real Pee Wee Herman, came on stage and sent his first tweet.
In the final panel, The Future of Twitter, most of the panelists decided that if twitter was a public stock, they would have a buy order for it.

Peril of the Week – Who Asked for a Bar Brawl?
Sep 25th
I met a lovely young lady who accepted a third date from a man she met in an online dating site. Now, some may think there is a lot of pressure when it’s time for date #3. More often than not, cyber-daters don’t make it past the first date. So one would think it’s time to be on your best behavior.
They went to a local bar for drinks and as her date was walking to the men’s room, he inadvertently pushed a guy who had too much to drink. Rather than apologize and move on, the tipsy man got angry and provoked a fight with her Internet date. So the moment came where her date had to make that big decision, move on or join in.
Unfortunately, he chose to swing back at the drunken man, and knocked him down. This resulted in a true bar brawl and the bouncer had to kick both of them out of the establishment. Her date had a cut on his eye and drove home in his own car. Fortunately for the lovely young woman, she drove to the date alone and made it home safely.
One has to wonder who was he trying to impress? Now he has been banned from his favorite watering hole and lost the girl.

Are You a Cyber Dating Cougar?
Sep 23rd
Tonight, the new television series Cougar Town, starring Courtney Cox will premiere on ABC Television. As I drove down Sunset Boulevard the past few weeks, I noticed billboards and signs at bus stops in a town that is getting ready for the official arrival of the cougars.
With all of the cougar mania, the online dating industry is also jumping on the bandwagon. There’s even an Internet dating site, iCougarDating.com, where they claim the web’s hottest cougars hang out. It’s simple with the age search functionality on most Internet dating sites for one to specifically choose their cougar mate, assuming that one is accurately describing their age in their profile.
Cougar dating has been around for a long time. It is now chic and acceptable for an older woman to be seen out in public and in a romantic relationship with a much younger man. Think about Ashton and Demi, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, Juliet Mills and Maxwell Caulfield. There’s even a California Cougar Convention scheduled for November 6th in Beverly Hills where the first-ever Miss California Cougar will be crowned. Are you ready to sign up?
On a personal note, just about a week ago, a gentleman asked me out on a date who was 25-years younger than me. I was a bit flattered as well as stunned. I asked him if he liked Cougars. After all, it’s the buzz word in the dating world now. He replied that he was accustomed to dating older women, he said. As he is still in his 20s, I had to wonder why? I politely told him I preferred dating men closer in age to myself and wished him the best.
So, I’ll ask you, “Are you a Cyber dating Cougar?” If so, I’d like to hear your stories.
