1) Someone who doesn&#039;t &quot;do it for you&quot; when you first meet can end up being your husband (that&#039;s my story as well!), and 

2) Persistence pays off, but not the obnoxious in-your-face type. Just the kind that keeps someone in your life so the possibilities stay open.
