Every once-in-a while, we hear from couples who have met on the Internet in an unconventional way. Let?s flashback to 2002 and meet Tammy who was a happy single mom and the epitome of a ?city girl? who lived in Washington state.
Rather than taking the traditional route, she logged onto Atomic Poker under the screen name of CUTENSASSY. Tammy wasn?t paying much attention to the chat screen on her right. Suddenly, she saw a message that caught her attention from COWBOYUP, which said, ?I bet you are one CUTENSASSY and I win the next hand.” Tammy, the city girl, wasn?t interested in the advances from the cowboy, so she continued to play her hand and ignored him.
Well, Mr. Cowboy did indeed win the hand ? with a Royal Straight Flush. Those who are Poker fans know this is a rarity. The two started chatting online and then graduated to a phone call. As different as they were on the outside, they quickly realized they shared the same core values. They made each other laugh.
One day, Scott invited Tammy to the Houston Livestock Show. Tammy passed on the event, but eventually flew to Houston to meet her poker-playing friend Scott. The two hit it off in person and started communicating long-distance via web chat and email. Shortly thereafter, Scott followed his heart and left his job behind. He moved to Washington to be with Tammy and her two daughters.
The two are now happily married and became the parents of a beautiful son. The family relocated to Texas and are now living the ranch life along with three horses, fifteen chickens, three dogs, and one cat.
