It was worth the long drive up Pacific Coast Highway to the northern end of Malibu where a friend of mine hosted a private book signing event and tea at her home for Mariel Hemingway’s newest book, Mariel’s Kitchen: Simple Ingredients for a Delicious and Satisfying Life. It was only a year ago that I met lovely Mariel at the book signing for her book, Mariel Hemingway’s Healthy Living from the Inside Out: Every Woman’s Guide to Real Beauty, Renewed Energy, and a Radiant Life
Besides enjoying the view of the Pacific Ocean, about 60 ladies had the chance to nibble on Mariel’s home cooked delights including Mariel’s Zucchini Walnut Dip, Mariel’s Sweet Roasted Nuts, Mariel’s Roasted Bell Pepper Tapenade, and my favorite, Mariel’s “Blisscuits” which will be the featured recipe this month in the Love Potions on the CyberDatingExpert site.
Mariel is passionate about her easy-to-make recipes that truly define California style healthy living. The book is as beautiful as she is.
