The June Gloom didn’t keep the people away on Saturday, June 13th at Donald J Pliner in Beverly Hills where they hosted a book signing party for The Perils of Cyber-Dating: Confessions of a Hopeful Romantic Looking for Love Online, by Julie Spira.
The event drew a crowd who sipped on cosmopolitan martinis, nibbled on Italian “Limonada” cookies from La Piu Bella Tavola caterers, enjoyed the huge shoe sale from the Italian designer, and received private online dating tips from the author. One special couple shared their story on how they met on JDate?.com — the #1 Jewish social scene and he proposed to her on the first date. They were married within a few months and are glowing with happiness.
