  1. I think that it’s all about being yourself and taking action.

A lot of women sign up for sites and A)write what they want people to hear and B) they don’t make the first move.

If you want someone to talk to you they have to know you exist first. Women need to be less afraid of how they appear (you can’t control how someone else views you, that’s based on their own tastes and personal experiences) but you can stir the pot a little bit by messaging people that you’d really like to get to know!

  2. Thanks for your comment Veronica. The online dating pool is at an all-time high with record sign ups for January. This is good news for singles. There’s someone for everyone!

  3. It is really important to ace your profile, but if you’re not being yourself it all means nothing. You can have your favorite picture that makes you look super hot, or your favorite quotes that make so you seem oh-so-intellectual, but when it comes down to it, if you’re not being yourself it means nothing. Be yourself-best advice for anyone dating online!

  4. I agree. Men are visual as we know. They like to see a nice profile photo and then they hope for some truth in advertising. Nothing is worse than the look your date’s face when you don’t look like your photos in real life.

  5. Thank you for your comment Barry. It is unfortunate, but true. I suggest to singles that they mention when their photos were taken or to state that their photos are recent and their age is accurate. It’s refreshing for someone to read this and know before putting a date on the calendar.
