Over 175 singles arrived at the Lock and Key Mixer in Santa Monica, held at the Main Lounge. The interactive social and dating network event drew a large crowd as the line was out the door when I arrived. It was a fun and flirty evening where the women wore the locks and the men had the keys, and we secretly hoped that someone would have the key to our heart.
I was on hand signing copies of my book, ?The Perils of Cyber-Dating: Confessions of a Hopeful Romantic Looking for Love Online?and made some new friends that evening. There were many prizes in the raffle including a SouthWest Airline ticket, spa treatments, gym gift certificates, and more.
The casting crew for the new reality show, “The One” were on site looking for candidates for their television pilot, and it appeared everyone enjoyed the evening.
