It was a rainy night in Los Angeles where it is customary for locals to stay at home and cancel their plans when a drizzle first starts to appear. However, I managed to bundle up last evening and brave the weather conditions to attend a night of glamour at the new SLS Hotel – Beverly Hills.
The event, “The Hip Hostess Series” ?hosted by Angeleno Magazine and Chambord Black Raspberry liquor was coordinated by Jennifer Sbranti, founder of the party planning site, Hostess with the Mostess. The event will be traveling to seven cities nationwide and if you are lucky to have an event in your city, you should try to get an invitation.
With the awards season in full swing, we were invited to celebrate in style at this lavish new hot spot in Los Angeles. Guests were sipping fine custom selections including the Chambord Red Carpet Splash, Chambord & Champagne, French Martini’s, and along with our dessert we were treated to hot chocolate with whipped cream, of course with a splash of Chambord. It was the perfect way to end a chilly rainy night.
The SLS hotel has been opened for exactly two months now and it was my first opportunity to walk through this stunning property filled with a hip Hollywood crowd. ?The place was surprisingly packed for a rainy night. Beautiful people were seen enjoying the atmosphere of one of the newest “in” places in town. ?
The hotel restaurant, called?The Bazaar? by Jos? Andr?s is a modern-day indoor ?piazza? where guests and locals were mingling in one of several spaces: Bar Centro, Blanco, Rojo and the P?tisserie, the?dessert bar, which caught my eye. ?I was thrilled to check out all of the high caloric choices in pretty jars. ?It’s a perfect place to go with your cyber-date after a night at the movies for an after dinner drink or dessert. The decor of the Bazaar is stunning, sophisticated, and worth a return visit.
The SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills is taking reservations for their “Be My Valentine” package where they advertise that you can sip, savor, and share this Valentine’s Day amidst intimate spaces and dreamy places. I can only dream and wish that this is where my Valentine would take me.
