It was with great anticipation that I waited for the arrival of Dr. Pat Allen’s latest book, The Truth About Men Will Set You Free: …but first it’ll p*ss you off!?I am a huge fan of her best-selling book,?Getting to ‘I Do’?and have attended her workshops.?
The subject of science in mating and relationships is a huge topic right now. Many online dating sites have personality profiling, there is gene testing, and yet we are still so confused about how to mate successfully.?
In her book, which is co-authored by Don Schmincke, Pat Allen defines the rule of mating. She stated that guys use “things” to prove love and girls use “love” to prove things. She goes further by stating that “love is what females give sex for and sex is what guys give love for.” Does it sound confusing? Not if you read this book. According to Dr. Pat Allen, this is why guys can program the VCR better than women. Dr. Pat Allen has been studying this for over 30 years. She should know.
She encourages women to let their estrogen roll and to capitalize on body language with these tips:
- Eyes: Paint them.
- Lips: Make them red.
- Clothing: Stress the female shape.
- High Heels: Use’em.
- Breasts: Expose them.
- Exercise and Diet: You know this.
Pat tells women, ?”You might let your guy know that he could have a better chance of whispering “sweet nothings” to you in your left ear versus your right. Then again, you might not want to.”
