Rose had just ended a two year relationship as she realized she wanted to meet a man who wanted both marriage and children. Suddenly single, she took some time to think about her ideal mate. After three months, she posted an online dating profile on Match.com
Nate responded to Rose’s profile and was the first man she spoke to from the site. As a matter of fact, Nate was the first and only date she had from the list of men who wrote to her on Match.com.
After a year and a half, Nate planned a romantic proposal for Rose. The couple were in Jackson Hole Wyoming attending a friend’s wedding. While they were there, he told Rose to pack a bathing suit, evening wear, and come dressed in a ski outfit. They went on a ride on a snowmobile to the nearby hotsprings. The view was breathtaking. ?Rose was not expecting a proposal as they were at someone else’s wedding, but it turned out that Nate had personally designed a spectacular engagement ring without her knowledge.
The two will be married in June 2010 in Montana, and Rose says she truly did find her soulmate on Match.
