Haleh originally joined JDate because she wanted to try and meet a nice Jewish guy. While she was not a super-religious, she knew that Judaism was important to her. She knew that one day when she wanted to have children, she wanted to share the culture with a family. In 2006, Haleh was dating, but not meeting Jewish men. She thought if she signed up for the online dating site, JDate, ?she might meet a Jewish guy.
Haleh was on JDate for only a few months, when she contacted someone with the screen name ?NJGuy? in a simple flirt that said, ?There is an opening in the sweetheart department, please send resume.? What she didn?t know then, was that Itai was a day or two away from ending his subscription after months of trying to connect with someone. Timing is everything because he immediately responded to her flirt.
Haleh had no idea that she would meet the man that she would spend her life with.
In early December 2008, Itai asked ?Haleh to be his wife and ?she said ?YES!? ?The two were married in October, 2009.
